Midsummer, despite its name, marks the beginning of the summer, a time of the longest days when nature has burst into life. We honor the sun and its life-giving energy--along with the life and light within each of us--with summery cider and mead releases, seasonal festivity, and an evening fire.
Cider and mead sangrias will also be flowing! We’ll light a fire pit in the evening, make s’mores, and reflect on the summer’s abundance.
A seasonal spread of cider and mead-based snacks will be available in exchange for donations to Friends2Ferals, with whom we work to care for the feral cat population at the Eastside Business Park. They’re raising money for a new van, so now’s the time to be generous!
Costumes are welcome, as are pets. Behaved children are allowed.
